Lütschetalsperre Rundwanderung

The Lütschetalsperre circular hike is one of the finest day walks from Oberhof, leading through alpine meadows, crystal-clear mountain streams and around the idyllic Lütschetalsperre reservoir. The 13 km route passes the Schlossbergkanzel viewpoint — with sweeping views over the lake and surrounding forest — before descending to the waterside, where dogs are free to swim. The return follows the Wegscheide trail back to Oberhof. The route involves some solid climbs but is well marked and perfectly suitable for dogs with good stamina.
